Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully perform specimen collection and specimen reception duties, adhering to established guidelines and policies.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner with and without supervision within a team environment. Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- An established history of positive teamwork and respectful behaviour. Elevated level of interpersonal and communication skills to enable effective, cooperative interaction within the work group and clients to achieve organisational goals.
- Demonstrate an elevated level of commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement, in accordance with National Association of Testing Authority/International Standardisation Organisation (NATA/ISO).
- Ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
