Finance Business Partner

GHD is currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven **Finance Business Partner - Joint Ventures and Complex Projects **to join our firm. As part of the South Queensland Regional Finance Team and reporting to the South Queensland Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for providing financial support to internal and external project leadership teams. We are flexible on location and the role can be based in within South Queensland offices in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Sunshine Coast.

In this role you will provide and present, timely and accurate financial transactional and reporting services to internal and external project leadership teams on joint ventures and major projects as well as other finance business partner services to technical business group leaders and project teams. Pivotal to this will be your collaborative management and communication style in supporting non-financial stakeholders with analysis and reports on project financial performance and adherence to contract obligations.

**In this diverse role you will**:

- Establish project ownership structures for joint ventures and complex projects
- Setup and maintain project WBS, Budgets, Forecasts, billing requirements and governance requirements in the ERP, previous experience with BST 10 preferred
- Manage joint venture parties interests’ for cost inputs, billings, settlements and contract reporting
- Attend project leadership meetings, raise agenda items, record minutes and action items registers
- Prepare management and financial reports, including payment claims, accruals and cashflows for presentation at leadership meetings
- Maintain financial transactions, GST records and cash management
- Monitor adherence to contractual arrangements and raise non-compliance issues
- Support internal and external audit activities

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Tertiary qualifications Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact and build relationships with various levels of leadership management and technical discipline teams across multiple geographies.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial audiences.
- The ability to time manage, plan, prioritise, organise and remain productive with mínimal supervision and while working independently/remotely is critical for success.
