The role is responsible for processing export shipments while coordinating and maintain excellent customer service.
The goal will be to achieve high accuracy through our forwarding systems to ensure high productivity and operational excellence.
- Registration and processing of Export shipments
- Shipment tracking through airline web site.
- Liaise with vendors, overseas office, customers, quarantine, CTO, airlines and internal stakeholders to ensure timely lodgment of shipment documentation
- Coordination of customer p/up requirements
- Processing in accordance with Australian Border Force requirements.
- Investigate & resolve customer queries & concerns
- Data Entry, reporting and delay updates.
- Accurate and timely invoicing for customers and agents
- General administration duties
- Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Team Leader/Supervisor
- Ability to work independently and safely through implementing safe work methods.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- At least 1 year of Freight Industry experience using a freight forwarding system such as CW1, Expedientetc.
- Knowledge of incoterms/ knowledge of ICS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Maintain high level attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised and be proactive in completing tasks assigned to the job function.
- Visa Status - Australia Citizen or Permanent Residency
