**Food Service Assistants - Major Hospitals**
- **Opportunity to join a major provider of health services on a casual basis.**:

- **Food Services Department currently producing a large volume of meals for patients**:

- **Variety of shifts available across 7 days to suit your lifestyle.**:

- **5-7 days paid on site training is provided**

As a Food Service Assistant your positive and can-do attitude combined with customer focused attitude will ensure patients in your care enjoy their dining experience.
- Key areas;_
- Plating and delivery of patient meals
- Dishwashing and general and/or specific cleaning duties.
- Engaging with our patients, providing genuine, patient centred customer service.
- Replenish stock, monitor and record Food Safety Records as per Food Safety Plan
- Advise shift supervisors of any Food Safety Record discrepancies immediately
- To be successful in the role you will;_
- Hold a current Police Check & Food Handling Certificate.
- Must Have Working With Children Check
- Must Have All Three Covid Vaccine and Current Flu Vaccination
- Be well presented, well groomed with good personal hygiene practises
- Experienced in a food service role preferably within a hospital environment
- Be able to participate in rotating rosters and shift work
- Understand or be willing to learn dietary needs of patients

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
