**About the role and team**
We're looking for someone to join our Knox Security Team at our banking client's data centre in Wantirna South, reporting to our Team Leader and working closely with our other four Security Officers. You will work 8 or 12 hour shiftsacross a rotating 24/7 roster, Monday through to Sunday. Every day is different, and creating a positive and professional interaction as the first point of contact, you will meet and greet a high volume of staff, visitors and contractors.
Other duties include:
- **Access Control**: Stringently manage access for contractors, visitors, and staff, verifying credentials and issuing passes.
- **Monitoring & Response**: Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access points, responding swiftly and professionally to any incidents.
- **Delivery & Coordination**: Efficiently manage deliveries, liaising with recipients, and ensuring secure handling of goods.
- **Perimeter Checks**: Conduct regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence and ensuring the security of the premises.
- **Emergency Response**: Be prepared to respond to fire alarms and other emergencies, following established procedures.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate logs and reports of all activities and incidents.
**What we're looking for**
- Holder of a current Victorian Security Licence
- Completed a Certificate II or III in Security Operations
- Current First Aid & CPR qualifications, or willing to obtain this prior to employment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
