Kindergarten Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and hard working **Kindergarten Teacher to join our fun and supportive team and run our Kinder Room/s.**

**About Us**

Hallam Early Learning is an Early Learning Centre based in Hallam, Victoria. We strive to create and maintain a warm, welcoming, nurturing, fun and educational environment for all the children in our care. We also pride ourselves on building positive and supportive relationships with all our children, families, educators, staff and the community. We are inspired by the education theories of Maria Montessori and embed this practice into our classrooms. At capacity our centre caters for up to 95 children with operating hours from 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday.

**About You - SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor of Education (Or ACECQA assessed equivalent) OR Working towards a Bachelor of Education
- VIT Registration.
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EFLY) and National Quality Standards
- Experience within an Early Childhood Service (working with children aged 3 -6 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children's Check
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
- Current Child Protection Training or willing to obtain
- A warm and nurturing disposition
- a Kind and compassionate leader
- Experience leading a room or team is preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Must have a commitment to upholding The Child Safe Standards
