**About the Position**

Reporting to the Business & Project Manger, the People and Culture Co-Ordinator plays a key role in building and coordinating the HR and Culture functions within the College.

With sound generalist HR skills, and high level people skills,this role is responsible for working with the Principal and Executive to manage recruitment and on-boarding, supporting management with performance related matters, providing professional advice within the area of responsibility, and participating in the development of a quality and compliant HR and Culture framework in alignment with Lighthouse Christian College mission and values.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Experience in facilitating recruitment and selection processes to meet organisational requirements
- Good understanding of the Fair Work Act 2009, MA000076 Education Award, and award interpretation, NES,

enterprise bargaining and all relevant compliance requirements
- Ability to set suitable HR metrics, and deliver meaningful and accurate reporting
- General understanding of RTW and the WorkCover framework
- Experience with managing staff performance issues
- Excellent communication skills
- both written and oral.
- Experience with developing and or supporting the development of policies and procedures
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office excel, word, and social media platforms
- Minimum Advanced Diploma qualifications in Human Resources or HR Degree including 5 years experience in a

similar role
- **Experience with Martian Logic HR system and TASS education system is highly desirable**:

- Previous experience in an educational setting will be highly regarded.
