Play Centre Assistant

My Puzzle House is a family owned All Abilities Play Centre with a difference. Supporting people of all abilities is our focus. We are here to encourage play time, social skills, and strengthening, and we have a range of services to offer. But... most importantly My Puzzle House is a safe place to have fun.
This is a casual weekend roll and will be on a fortnightly roster. We are looking for someone who is available most Saturdays, and some Sundays.
**Responsibilities**
Hosting birthday parties - set up, pack up, food preparation and cooking.
Café - serving, cooking, and cleaning.
Greeting clients upon entry.
General cleaning - vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, food areas, general housekeeping.
Stocktaking.
Opening and closing independently.
**Skills**
Great customer service with children and adults.
Patience with serving individuals who may have a disability.
Ability to take initiative.
Ability to work under pressure.
**Qualifications**:
Driver’s license and own car preferred.
Food handler certificate preferred.
Working with Children Check(employee) must be provided before commencement.
Police Check must be provided before commencement.
NDIS Screening Check to be completed within the first month after commencement.
First Aid Certificate preferred.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $25.41 - $35.58 per hour

Licence/Certification:
- Working with Children Check (employee) (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
