**About the role**

The Star Sydney is currently looking for a Fitter / plumber to join our Property Operations team on a **full-time basis working on a 24/7 rotating roster**. Our team of Technicians are responsible for maintaining all aspects of our Sydney property.

**As part of our maintenance team, you will undertake variety of tasks, including but not limited to**:

- General plumbing works such as leak investigations and repairs.
- Attending breakdowns on commercial catering equipment and carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Must have Fabrication and machining skills using tig, arc welding and must be competent in the safe operational use of lathes, drills and hand power tools.
- Commissioning & testing of kitchen equipment & other various project works.
- Reporting and documenting work via building maintenance software.

**About you**
- Fitter / turner trade and/or Plumbing Trade Qualifications or equivalent
- Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays as required)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as you work with a diverse guest base environment.
- Polished five-star grooming and personal presentation.
