Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Relevant professional experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, military service, supply chain, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, or other related field.
- Experience in conducting Investigations (Fraud/Theft, etc.).
- Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, to include intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills (English).
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, even with off-site supervision.

The Role

You will lead the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset protection (lives, buildings, equipment, data, and intellectual property) in the largest Amazon Robotics facility in the Southern Hemisphere. You will be a key member of the organization, working with cross-functional teams throughout the site to protect our people, products, and assets while working hard, having fun, and making history.

Key job responsibilities
- Enhance, track, and report on key metrics.
- Implement loss reduction/mitigation strategies
- Drive investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate.
- Inspire performance excellence on the part of all security services team members.
- Identify, promote and implement security best practices in a designated FC.
- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
- Effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes and initiatives.
- Coordinate data collection, and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretations.
- Certified Protection Professional and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) qualified.
- Certification in formal investigation procedures (Wicklander-Zulawski or P.E.A.C.E.).
- Basic understanding of support business processes (Procurement/Finance/HR/Legal/etc)
- Familiarity with databases (for querying and analysing), such as SQL, Access, etc.,
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma concepts desirable.
- Analytical experience in a performance-based, results-oriented setting.
- Contract Management of Security Guarding Services (Experience with tender process preferred).
- Experience in Business Continuity Management and basic Crisis Management.
