**About the Role**:
We are seeking a **Café Manager** to join our passionate and energetic team in Penrith. This full-time role requires a hands-on leader with a love for great coffee, healthy food, and exceptional customer service. As Café Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage a small team, and ensure the café runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.

Your role will be instrumental in maintaining high standards, promoting a positive and energetic work environment, and driving the café’s success. You will work closely with the team to ensure that customers have a memorable experience every time they visit, whether it’s through a perfect coffee, delicious meal, or top-notch service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and inspire a small, passionate team, ensuring they are self-managing and following company policies and standards.
- Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and a high-quality customer experience.
- Manage staff scheduling, labor costs, and inventory to meet budgetary and operational goals.
- Take responsibility for the café’s profitability by maintaining labor costs, food costs, and ensuring the store is achieving target margins.
- Ensure excellent knowledge and operation of espresso machines and maintain a high standard of coffee preparation.
- Handle POS system operations and manage the merchant facility.
- Provide hands-on training to staff on best practices for service, food handling, and coffee preparation.
- Enforce company policies when necessary, ensuring a consistent and high standard of work.
- Ensure the café is always clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
- Solve operational challenges quickly and effectively to minimize downtime or service disruptions.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience in café management (at least 1 year preferred).
- Strong barista skills and a deep understanding of coffee machines and espresso-based drinks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume coffee sales and troubleshoot technical issues with coffee machines.
- Experience with food handling, customer service, and general hospitality industry practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and oversee budgets, labor costs, and inventory efficiently.
- Energetic, positive, and proactive attitude with a passion for leading a team and providing exceptional service.
- A driver’s license and own vehicle are preferred but not essential.
- A passion for healthy food, organic options, and sustainable practices is a bonus

**What We Offer**:

- A competitive salary range of $50,000 - $59,000 per year, based on experience.
