**The role**

We are currently recruiting Disability Support Worker to join the Care Plus team. In this role you will provide person centred strength based individual support to our participants to increase and maintain their independence. The role will be based in the greater Adelaide metro region working with varying participants on a casual basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing person centred care to participants;
- Assisting with home support, community access support activities of daily living and social support;
- Assist with meal preparation
- Contributing to the daily operation of services that provide life skill development and social inclusion for people with a disability
- Implementing and recording progress of innovative programs to meet individual participants goals in conjunction with their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan
- Ensuring participants continue learning and participate in meaningful leisure, recreational, social and cultural activities
- Building effective and respectful relationships with participants, families and community members involved in disability programs

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Certificate III in Disability, Aged, Individual Support or similar.
- DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- DHS Disability Clearance/NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Assist with Medication Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence Current C Class drivers' licence, providing your own reliable transport
- Unrestricted Working Rights in Australia

**Salary**: $30.77 - $47.95 per hour
