We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship for ageing adults. We also provide specialist care within the following domains: Dementia, Parkinson's disease, MND, MS and Palliative care at home.

**About the role**

We are currently hiring passionate and caring CAREGivers to join our Home Instead family As a CAREGiver you will be part of a growing team that assists our clients with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

Home Instead Geelong assist their clients from 2 hours to 24-hours a day 7 days a week. We service the Geelong region (including Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast), Ballarat and Colac areas.

This causal role will allow CAREGivers to work flexible hours while making a difference through providing compassionate home care and supporting individuals to live independently at home. We are currently seeking CAREGivers ideally available in the morning from 7am - 5pm with midweek availability, and CAREGivers who may be intertested in Activities/Inactive Sleepovers or 24 hour live in services.

**About you**:

- Must have a valid Australian open driver's license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
- Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
- Clear National Police Check
- COVID vaccinations
- **A certificate III Individual Support (or equivalent), or the commitment to obtain it upon commencement of employment.**:

- A second language is highly desirable.
