BRE Engineering is an innovative engineering business located in Bibra Lake, WA.We currently support a wide range of industries including mining, naval and commercial marine, architectural and general industrial.

**About the Role**
We are Now Hiring for **Skilled Trade Assistants** to join a new and exciting shipbuilding project with one of the worlds Leading Shipbuilders. This project, based in Henderson will be a 10 Year Contract carrying out pipe installation and fabrication for a Naval Ship Project.

**Duties**:

- Assist Trade Persons with the Fabrication and Installation of piping systems
- Fitting of pressure and drainage piping systems and their components
- Working with welders and mechanical fitters on piping systems
- Instrumentation tube bending and swaging.
- Deliver with a strong focus on safety.
- Fire Sentry and Housekeeping duties as required.
- Work as part of a team and independently.
- Deliver piping systems to a high standard.

**About the Applicant**

The successful applicants must have the ability to attend work Monday to Friday and work up to 50 Hrs/Week.

Previous Marine, Naval or Shipbuilding Experience will be highly regarded

**Mandatory**:

- Prior experience working alongside tradespeople
- Strong safety ethics
- You will be a strong team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and further develop
- Drivers Licence and own transport
- Confined Space Entry
- Be willing to participate with Pre-employment Medical and random Drug and Alcohol Screening.

**Desirable**:

- Previous Pipefitting and/or Plumbing experience will be highly regarded.
- Fire Training and/or working at heights.
- High Risk License for EWP, Rigging, Forklift
- Experience within defence or Marine Industry, will be highly regarded.
