**The opportunity and the role**:
As the Legal Administrative Support Officer you will provide a range of high level administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and to support the DCS Legal leadership team achieve organisational objectives. The role is diverse and requires a person who can prioritise and enjoys a fast paced environment.
**Your key accountabilities include**:
- Assist with the management of the diary appointments, records and correspondence, and scheduling and supporting meetings to facilitate the effective management of their agenda
- Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements
- Support the implementation and operation of Legal document management systems, including a litigation case management system, and other systems
- Assist with the management of financial payments and reporting
- Maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery outcomes
- Support the Senior Legal Administration Officer with a range of administrative functions including coordination and workflow of work in progress
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a motivated team player with demonstrated experience in:
- Key stakeholder management
- Reporting
- Advanced knowledge and operation of Office 365 suite
- Willingness to learn legal document management system
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise
