We are seeking to fill multiple Professional Driver - Casual positions with highly experienced and motivated drivers. This is an opportunity to advance your skills, build a stable career, and achieve a fulfilling work-life balance.

As a Casual Professional Driver you will play a critical role in providing high-quality waste management services with duties including:

- Safely operating Council vehicles equipped with modern Telematics systems
- Collecting residential and commercial waste and maintaining bin infrastructure
- Reporting operational issues and maintaining daily run sheets
- Working collaboratively with the Waste Services leadership team.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Customer service experience
- Well-developed communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and unsupervised
- Ability to locate properties using systems such as Google Maps, TechOne, Telematics, Global Positioning
- System (GPS), directions and signage
- Class HR driver’s licence.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in waste management collection and/or removal or similar field
- Previous experience in using Telematics system and Global Positioning System (GPS).

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $33.4529 per hour, plus 25% casual loading
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
