Shoolin Consultancy is an Australian resourcing company, designed to discover and deliver unparalleled HR Solutions and ICT Consultancy solutions in Australia. Currently we are looking for Software Tester to join our growing team.

As a Software Tester you will be undertaking the following duties:

- Examining, evaluating & assessing system & program needs
- Testing & detecting program deficiency & limits within existing systems and all related processes
- Testing & Diagnosing system errors, debugging and correcting faults & errors in programming language utilising established testing protocols
- Meeting system designs & technical requirements by writing and maintaining program code as per established quality accredited standards
- Ensuring the maintenance and updating of technical program as well as operational processes.
- Formulating technical advice towards creating strategies & suggestions for all activities related to software & program design and testing
- Providing continuous guidance & expertise as needed for operational processes such as evaluating costings & assessing other data to recommend software updates & purchases

The position will report to the Director.

The job will be full time, with hours to be worked between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants must have:
Qualifications:
Relevant bachelor’s degree qualification or higher.

**Experience**:
At least 5 years previous experience or more in a similar role in lieu of formal qualification.

**Skills**:

- Ability to use HPE Unified Functional Testing, Ranorex, Tosca Testsuite and Selenium
- Knowledge of BI Tools: SAP BOXI, Congos, Oracle BI, Thoughspot.
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of programming & relevant test techniques.

- Deal with clients, stakeholders, and other employees professionally at all times
- work independently and make necessary decisions throughout the systems process within established guidelines.

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
