**About the role**:
At CatholicCare Victoria we’re committed to empowering communities and building strength and resilience, to enable everyone to reach their full potential and live life to the full. We deliver a range of child, family and youth services, family relationship services, school counselling and pastoral care services, social housing, homelessness services, employment and advocacy services across Victoria.

The program aims to ensure the wellbeing of individuals, couples and families by minimising the emotional, social and economic costs of disruption to daily functioning and / or relationships. Services are for all community members including from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, indigenous people, low-income earners, sole parents and those living in remote areas.

The program includes delivery of the Family Mental Health Support Service (FMHSS), which provides early intervention and non-clinical mental health support for children and young people, aged up to 18 years, who are showing signs of, or are at risk of, developing mental illness.

**Specifically, the position is responsible for**:

- Coordinating and monitoring caseloads, including providing support, guidance and supervision to staff to ensure positive outcomes, and includes carrying a therapeutic client case load
- Team leader level responsibility for the Family and Relationship Services (FaRS) activity and Family Law Counselling (FLC) and Family Mental Health Support Services across the Bendigo and Shepparton office locations
- Contribute to the development of funding proposal submissions, service models, research and innovationUndertake and complete all reporting requirements in accordance with milestones**To be considered for this position, applicants require**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or Community Development or similar related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in providing professional supervision to client-facing staff in the delivery of human services programs
- Strong understanding of a variety of theoretical frameworks and intervention strategies, including working with children, young people and families
- Sound understanding of relevant legislative requirements and funding body frameworks and guidelines
