This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Designer or Architectural Technician to play a varied and challenging role as a key interface between a broad range internal and external stakeholders that include certifiers, builders, consumers, distributors, external specification customers, industry partners and sales and marketing teams.

**What experience skills and qualifications are needed?**
- Significant experience in Technical Support roles within the Building Products industry
- Relevant Building Designer / Architectural qualifications would be preferred along with extensive construction experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Codes & Standards
- Effective communication skills to respond to internal & external stakeholders
- Competence in using AutoCAD, Revit, & BIM software packages
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong process and project management skills
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders

**What will you be doing?**
- Provide Customer Technical Support across the business nationally, encompassing.
- Third level Technical Support to enquiries referred from front line Technical Support Officers
- Priority product and system support for Sales Teams and key external customers, this may involve onsite visits and meetings in conjunction with Account Managers when required.
- Technical advice on building issues arising from Building Regulations and Australian Standards to Sales/Marketing personnel and external customers and other industry participants.
- Timely response to queries & customers as per CX Survey and Service Level Agreement target levels.
- Maintain CRM case management for all enquiries.
- Provide technical responses for inclusion in reference literature resource.
- Send contact leads to state sales & lead generation teams
- Promote optimal solutions to customers
- Develop and deliver project specific support for Major Projects, including site support, custom proposals and bespoke detailing as required.
- Work closely with Field Technicians, A&D Specification and Sales teams to ensure products and systems are recommended and used in compliant systems and installed correctly.
- Ensure all recommendations are compliant with NCC requirements and documentation is provided to support this position
- Develop and deliver training for internal staff/sales and external stakeholders, associations, and industry contact representatives.
- Compile market insights as drivers for system development ideas, and work with the rest of the Technical Group to develop new solutions to customers’ needs.
