**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
.Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and servicing of sugar pouch packing, jam spread, and chocolate machines.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Install, set up, and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to enhance machine efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, servicing schedules, and machine performance.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure equipment meets industry regulations.

**Skills & Experience Required**:
Proven experience as a **Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter** in a food manufacturing or packaging environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Experience working with **automated packaging, filling, and processing machines** (sugar pouch packing, jam spreaders, chocolate processing equipment, etc.).
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Trade qualification in **Fitting & Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field** is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $34.69 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
