Do you have a passion for food and cooking and want to turn it into a rewarding career?

Opportunities all over the Sunshine Coast

You will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery & upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Chef. Total apprenticeship term: 3 years

**Duties may include, but not limited to**:

- Assist with the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals for our customers, in accordance with our menu and recipes.
- Learn how to manage the kitchen, including stock control, ordering, and food preparation schedules.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including food hygiene and sanitation.
- Work closely with the team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
- Learn to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer

**Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria**:

- Have a real passion for food
- Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship
- Demonstrate a great attitude and willingness to work
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Be reliable, punctual and able to demonstrate initiative
- Be well presented
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Problem solving capabilities
- Work well under pressure and able to demonstrate resilience

Please note, to be eligible you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.

Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
