The award winning BMD Northcliffe Surf Club is looking for an **EXPERIENCED **Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our team.

**The position**

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is efficient, friendly and able to meet the cleaning requirements of our busy kitchen. Our bistro operates 7 days a week with orders from from 7am - 9pm. This casual role will require a mixture of days, nights, weekend and public holiday work. There will be approximately 15-25 hours per week available to begin with.

Primary responsibilities of this role includes:

- Thorough cleaning of dishes, cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils;
- Efficient cleaning of kitchen/food areas and equipment;
- Pot and kitchenware washing;
- Operation of commercial dishwasher and kitchen equipment;
- Movement and disposal of waste;
- Restocking of pantry and cool room items;
- Moping and general cleaning of the kitchen and storage areas;
- Adherence to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines and procedures.

Remuneration will be paid at Award Level 1 by the hour. You will be paid all applicable penalty rates including overtime, public holiday pay, weekend rates etc
