**Job Summary**:
The waiter/waitress will be responsible for providing customers with a positive dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests are satisfied with their meals and overall experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Greeting Guests**:

- Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer any initial questions regarding the menu.
- **Taking Orders**:

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
- Offer recommendations and provide information on menu items, including specials, dietary restrictions, or potential allergens.
- **Serving Food & Beverages**:

- Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Ensure that orders are accurate and meet customer expectations.
- Attend to guests’ needs and provide refills or additional items as requested.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns.
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure they are satisfied.
- Clear tables and prepare them for the next guests.
- **Processing Payments**:

- Present checks, collect payments, and ensure transactions are completed accurately.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and any vouchers with responsibility.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Ensure tables, utensils, and dining areas are clean and well-organized.
- Assist in the cleanliness and setup of restaurant areas, including restocking supplies.
- **Teamwork**:

- Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service.
- Communicate any guest needs or special requests with other staff members.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.38 - $40.40 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
