**About us**
KP Protection Services is a fast growing security company based in South East Queensland with a strive for professional excellence in the security industry. KPPS has a team of over 80 guards and a management team that boasts more than 100 years of individual security experience. Due to increasing client contracts, we are now hiring qualified Security Guards with crowd controller license for Brisbane and Gold Coast areas.

- Leagues & Services Clubs
- Hotels
- Clubs
- Licensed Venues
- Large events

**Qualifications & experience**
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Trained security officer with current Queensland Security License with crowd controller component
- Ability to maintain decorum in stressful and problematic situations
- Helpful and friendly persona
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Intense attention to detail
- Ability to deescalate threatening and hazardous situations

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Protect client's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Screen patrons entering and exiting the premises.
- De-escalate potentially serious situations and upon request assist in escorting patrons out of venues using appropriate methods
- Control patron behaviour in and around the premises to ensure the safety of patrons, staff and guards.
- Providing exceptional customer service and to act professionally at all times
- Report in detail any incidents in line with legislation and relevant policies and procedures
- Conduct emergency evacuations & perform first aid and/or CPR where applicable

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.05 - $53.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- crowd controller: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA or willing to obtain an RSA (preferred)
- Queensland Security License with Crowd Controller Component (required)
