Our maintenance team is growing An exciting opportunity has become available for a maintenance all-rounder to join our RACV team here in Hobart.

This role would suit applicants who enjoy diversity within their role and consider themselves to be a ‘jack-of-all-trades,’ with a broad scope of general knowledge within the maintenance space.

**A day in the life**- Carry out general maintenance of hotel fixtures and fittings including, but not limited to, painting, carpentry, minor plumbing works, changing of light globes and tubes and cleaning duties;- Carry out the day to day activities required to maintain the hotel- Attend to guests and members technical enquiries;- Liaise with internal departments such as front desk reception and housekeeping to assist with general room maintenance;- Maintain the workshop, plant rooms and store rooms in a clean and tidy manner and maintain all tools and equipment in a safe manner;- Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

**We’re looking for someone who**- Possesses strong problem-solving techniques, initiative and demonstrates ability to plan, manage time and resources efficiently;- Can work unsupervised and within a team environment, at times fast-paced, demonstrating a positive attitude and communicating effectively;- Has excellent customer service and organisational skills; and- Plays an active role in ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment, adhering to RACV health and safety policies and procedures.

A trade qualification is desired, however not essential. Experience in a similar role will be considered advantageous.

This is a Permanent Full Time position. Availability between 7am - 8pm across 7 day roster is essential.
