**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes - bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities. As there is **no accommodation** on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.

This is a Dayshift role working Monday-Thursday 10-hour days. There may be requirements to provide night shift outage support, and the opportunity to complete additional shifts, so flexibility is crucial to the successful applicant.

Reporting to the **Maintenance Supervisor** as **a Boilermaker/Welder**the purpose of this role is to safely execute maintenance work within an operation area as per SAP processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions as directed by the Supervisor Maintenance. This role will be offered on a_ _Permanent basis.

**Key responsibilities are, but not limited to**:

- Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures
- Ensure compliance to the SAP process for work execution and capture related transactional data into the SAP system
- Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions as directed by the supervisor maintenance or superintendent maintenance
- Ensure work is done to the highest standard and history is recorded in SAP notifications for future reference
- Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process
- Maintain their welding qualifications as per the Worsley Standard and as per the area specific needs

**ABOUT YOU**
- Boilermaker Welder Trade certification, Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) with minimum 2 years experience in the resource sector.
- Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
- C class driver’s license
- SAP data entry, work order processing and warehouse functions knowledge
- High Risk Work License for Forklift and Basic Rigging
- Elevated Work Platform
- Accredited Working in Confined Space Training
- HR Drivers Licence (Preferred, but not essential)
- C2 or above High Risk Crane Licence (optional)
