**About Us**:
Glenala State High School is a vibrant learning setting located in Durack, in Brisbane's south-west. Students from Durack, Inala, Richlands, Darra, Pallara and Doolandella make up the population of over 1070 students, including Indigenous Australians and many students who were born overseas. Glenala excels in many avenues such as academic and vocational pathways. We are experiencing a wonderful growth period as families are turning to Glenala as the school of choice in the area. This significant growth will see three major building construction programs (3-storey building, extension to both our performing arts hall and Trade Skills Centre) over the next 12 months increasing the school's capacity. In 2019 a four-million-dollar STEM Centre of Excellence also opened. Glenala State High School draws its strength from a highly experienced staff base who are well equipped to teach students from over 50 different nationalities.
