School Portrait Photographer

The School Photographer is a nationally recognised photography company specialising in school photography, with branches across Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory, The ACT, NSW and North Queensland & Tasmania. With our precision training and field experience you will have the ability to travel and work throughout Australia, and even, the world.
Our NSW Northern Rivers Office is currently seeking to hire and train a successful applicant in the specific field of School Portrait Photography.

It’s important to note that your personal qualities are of greater importance than your photography experience
The successful applicant must demonstrate an enthusiastic, dynamic, and energetic disposition, be punctual, well presented, organised, and have an interest in learning in the field of school photography.
At times, you will be required to travel some distance in order to photograph regional schools. Accommodation & food expenses are covered with allowances, paid by the company.
This is a casual position with up to 5 working days per week during school terms. No work will be available during school holidays.
Successful applicants do not necessarily need any prior professional photographic experience as full training will be provided, as well as requisite equipment. To be a successful applicant, you will:

- Be willing to work in and around Northern NSW
- Be Customer and Quality focused.
- Have a natural rapport with both adults and children/adolescents & have clear verbal communication skills.
- Enjoy working in an active team.
- Maintain a professional presentation.
- Have a current drivers license and own vehicle.
- Have a current or be willing to obtain Working with Children Check.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Be a permanent Australian Resident or Australian Citizen.
- A background in sales or willingness to learn sales would be favourably viewed

Positions commence 20/01/2025, with a full week of paid training in Sydney, with expenses covered. All personnel must adhere to NSW Public Health Orders and Department of Education requirements regarding safe site entry.
