Full Time Permanent Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Fin Ops Specialist to manage and optimise technology costs across technology, including multi-cloud environments, Consulting Costs, Employee Costs and all SaaS offerings ensuring that we make data-driven financial decisions to support our business goals.
You role will be key in work closely with the product, engineering, operations and finance teams to ensure efficient resource utilisation and cost transparency. Ideally, you'll hold relevant experience in financial management, a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP and SaaS), cloud cost governance, and cloud resource optimisation.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud financial management (FinOps), cloud architecture, or related roles in a cloud-centric environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud financial models (on-demand, reserved instances, savings plans, spot instances).
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. Experience with cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Google Cloud Cost Tools).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical cloud usage and financial information into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working in cross-functional teams, with the ability to influence engineering, product, and finance teams.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying cloud cost optimisation opportunities and resolving complex cost-related issues.
**Desirable**:
- Experience with FinOps frameworks or certification (e.g., Certified FinOps Practitioner) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Experience working in a large-scale, multi-cloud environment undergoing digital transformation is highly desirable.
