ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking experienced Casual Security Officers to join our Woodside team located in Karratha on a FIFO basis. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the primary role of the Security Officer is to ensure the immediate safety and security of the premises and all those person(s) on the premises. Flights, accommodation and all meals are provided by G4S. No two days are the same with duties including roving patrols, gate keeping, control room, emergency response assistance and more.

**The key accountabilities of the role will be**:

- Provide internal security services including routine and regular patrols within facilities.
- Assist with emergency responses as a member of the Incident Response Team (IRT) as directed.
- Provide surveillance of abnormal incidents within the precincts of the facility and liaise with police as appropriate.
- Provide information and assistance to staff, visitors and service contractors as necessary.
- Follow policies, procedures and instructions relating to work health and safety that are relevant to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality and safe services in the workplace.
- Take reasonable care for your own health, safety and wellbeing and take reasonable care to ensure that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health, safety and wellbeing of others
- Report safety and security hazards or breaches to the on-duty Security Supervisor.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- It is a condition of employment in this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID 19
- Western Australian Security License - Static Guard/Crowd Control
- Certificate II - Security Operations
- First aid cert with CPR obtained or renewed within the last year
