About the Role
Provide a high-level of 'hands-on' technical expertise, advice and leadership to the implementation, administration, maintenance and support of information systems, databases and services to meet the business requirements and objectives of Cancer Alliance Queensland (CAQ), including the Queensland Cancer Register (QCR).
Monitor recent industry developments and trends, including liaising with external professional bodies and tertiary institutions, to enable the implementation of best practice information technology systems for CAQ and its clients.
Consult and liaise extensively with CAQ team members to clarify business requirements and make recommendations on how to develop system enhancements and ensure databases and infrastructure meets client needs.
