As the Injury Management Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the timely management of incidents and injuries within our clients' workforces. You will work closely with host clients, workers, insurers and health providers to ensure efficient resolution of claims and support a speedy return to work with mínimal lost time.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with minimum of 3 years commercial experience across all aspects of the injury management, claims management and return to work process, including,
- Assisting incident investigations, collection of incident data, completing worker interviews, processing claim paperwork for submission to our insurer and manage internal files/case documentation.
- Screening fitness for work medical documents and providing guidance to our team members on an applicant's suitability.
- Developing return to work plans, liaising with medical & health practitioners and other providers as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive case files to ensure injury management records are managed in accordance with company, WorkCover WA and legislative requirements.
- Attend regular claims reviews with the Senior Risk Manager, Insurer, Broker and other service providers.
- You will have strong customer service & stakeholder relationship skills, high standards of communication, attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Sound technical knowledge of the Workers Compensation/IM Act and Regulations (WA) & understanding of the claim processes and vocational rehabilitation services.
- Work closely with the Senior Risk Manager across all aspects of Injury Management and Risk Management to improve business performance and share in the success.
- You must have qualifications as an Injury Manager, WorkCover WA Return to Work Coordinator, with at least 3 years commercial experience in an previous occupational health/injury management role.

Ideally you will have Cert IV Work Health and Safety, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiotherapy, Ergonomics, Psychosocial Health & Wellbeing qualifications and solid understanding of Occupational Health Rehabilitation Services.
