Aquatic Pond and Aquarium Technician

Do you like to have a career in fish related maintenance work in ponds, aquariums and lakes?
- A keen interest and knowledge of fish and aquatic ecosystems (specific knowledge on marine corals and saltwater ecosystems would be valuable)
- Good knowledge on aquarium and pond designs and filtration systems
- Own transport to work
- Drivers License
- Police clearance (can sort out if not yet available)
- Fit and able to work long hours when required
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Good attitude and commitment to clients
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Previous experience in pet shops or fish shops
- A reasonable knowledge of fish diseases
- Able to assist in administration activities when required
- Qualifications in aquaculture or related fields or good fish knowledge is valuable
