JLL has been appointed by the owners to manage two unique marina locations in Rozelle, Sydney Harbour.

The Sydney Superyacht Marina has an exciting opportunity for a Marina Attendant to join our team.

You will support the Marina Manager to manage the daily operations of the marina to ensure it is presented in its optimal condition. To deliver the highest level of safety and deliver high level customer service to our crew, tenants (Superyachts, commercial offices, food and beverage operators) and the local community.

For this role we need a friendly and professional person, someone who can liaise with and build rapport with all levels of the business and the public.

In this busy and hands on role, your duties will include, but aren’t limited to:
Assist yacht crews with day to day service requirements, berthing assistance (including after hours assistance and phone calls) and delivering mail
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and peers verbally and in writing
Conduct daily marina inspections and report on occupancy, utility usage, ongoing maintenance requirements and Health, Safety & Environment obligations
Maintain site cleanliness (this includes the marina, building, bathrooms and car park, grounds and gardens) and demonstrate a can do attitude and perseverance when dealing with mundane routine tasks
Assist all contractors working on site and on yachts through a seamless registration and induction process
Assist in office procedures and display a professional courteous phone manner

**Before you apply, it’s worth knowing what we are looking for**:
**Essential**:
You have experience in boating and you have reasonable knowledge of Sydney Harbour
You have practical maintenance skills and familiar with the safe use of most power tools to carry out basic repairs and maintenance
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and you’re able to use Word and Excel programs on a PC to a basic level
Have the ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised
As a minimum you hold a NSW Boat Licence and First Aid certificate
You’re prepared to work a flexible roster Monday to Friday including some weekends and public holidays. Rosters are available 1 months in advance
You must be able to swim strongly to work in this marine environment

Advantageous
You have previously worked in a marina, worked onboard a superyacht or worked in hospitality where you have applied a high level of customer service
You hold a current Coxswain Grade 3 certificate

As this role includes an element of working after hours and call outs, it is considered a benefit if you live close to the Marina.

The Marina operates a small forklift and if you are licensed to operate a forklift please list this skill on your resume, otherwise training will be provided.

Specific marine related training in procedures and emergency response will be provided as part of your induction. Training opportunities can be provided.
