**About the role**:
Due to an internal promotion this is an exciting opportunity to join Unitywater as a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Advisor and help build a safer, more supportive work environment In this role, you'll drive WHS programs, ensure compliance, and work closely with leaders to identify and manage risks. You'll be instrumental in incident investigations, safety initiatives, and fostering a culture of wellbeing by coaching and mentoring teams to keep safety a top priority. Make a meaningful impact, your expertise will shape a workplace where everyone thrives

**Qualifications & Experience**
- WHS Diploma / Advanced Diploma (VET) (minimum)
- ICAM or other safety investigation qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in electrical or civil construction or utilities

**Skills & Capabilities**
- Strong computer and literacy skills
- Project management and analytical skills for data interpretation
- High-level negotiation and ability to influence direction
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and evaluate safety systems
- Ability to build long-term relationships with stakeholders and peers
- Coaching, mentoring, and training program development
- Active participation in shaping a positive work culture
- Team-focused approach to optimizing workflows and safety initiatives
