**Your new role**

In your new role, you will be working, learning, and developing your skills as a Mechanical Fitter within a tight-knit team.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Fault-finding and diagnosing
- Perform planned maintenance including breakdown repairs as directed
- Performing statutory testing, and inspections
- Conducting pre-start checks on all machinery and equipment

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will be a trade qualified fitter, ideally having experience in the Defence Industry, along with:

- Strong ability to solve problems and reach outcomes
- An uncompromising approach to safety and quality
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be able to work autonomously
- Willing to undergo a Police Check
- Possess a current Australian State or territory class C Driver’s licence
