Small Animal Surgical Specialist

Belconnen Veterinary Centre is seeking an experienced Small Animal Surgical Specialist to join our team and provide advanced surgical services within a progressive general practice environment.

**About the Role**:
As Surgical Specialist, you will:

- Manage and lead the surgical caseload, including advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures.
- Collaborate with our highly skilled veterinarians (2 surgical membership holders) and nurses to provide outstanding patient outcomes.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to colleagues, contributing to the ongoing professional development of the team.
- Shape and grow our surgical service, with the autonomy and flexibility to design a service that reflects your expertise.

**About You**:
- Board-certified (ANZCVS, ACVS, ECVS) or eligible for specialist registration in Australia.- Strong surgical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.- A collaborative approach, with the ability to engage, mentor, and inspire veterinary colleagues.- Interest in developing a sustainable, client-focused surgical service in a general practice setting.
