Sheet Metal Worker

**Employment details**
- Full time employment
- Salary negotiable with a minimum package of $70,000 (base salary)

**Responsibilities**
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to understand project requirements
- Accurately measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets, using precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Cut, shear and shape metal sheets using tools such as shears, power saws and presses to achieve desired dimensions.
- Utilize brakes and other forming equipment to bend and shape metal sheets according to design requirements.
- Weld pieces together according to specifications, drawings or directions
- Make customized sumps, rainheads & flashings, bending gutter, riveting, rolling, soldering and using steel screws.

**Qualifications**
- Must have a relevant Australian qualification or a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sheetmetal worker
- Proficient in the fabrication of sumps, rain heads and flashings, as well as experience in bending gutters, riveting, rolling, soldering and using steel screws.
