**Position Summary**
Nestlé enjoys the reputation of the world’s largest FMCG, and a leader in nutrition, health and wellness. At our Gympie Factory, we produce our iconic coffee brands NESCAFE and INTERNATIONAL ROAST.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you, along with another Line Manager, will be responsible for driving optimal performance and promoting continuous improvement to ensure your production lines operate smoothly and successfully. You will be supervising approximately 20 Production Operators and the operation of up to 8 production lines.
**A day in the life**
Key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:
- Ensure all production work adheres to safety, quality, compliance, reliability, and cost requirements.
- Leading, coaching & motivating a multi-skilled team to work to standards whist achieving individual, departmental, development, and planned performance improvements.
- Fostering continuous improvement and Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) principles to build capability and improve your areas overall performance.
- Building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Responsible for leveraging team-based problem-solving techniques (5S, root cause, etc.) to investigate, analyse, identify and mitigate causes of performance gaps on the production line.
- Drive Focused Improvement projects and activities on your line in accordance with site objectives and the production plan.
- Analyse and present general production data results to cross functional representatives.

- Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.
- Have previous experience in a supervisory role, within a FMCG production environment.
- Possess excellent people management skills with a demonstrated ability of implementing a Continuous Improvement culture on the production floor.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communications skills, in order to effectively lead Production Operators, and communicate production goals and objectives.
- Preferably have experience working with SAP.
- Good attitude to work and strong ability to have positive interactions with people.
- Ability to deliver results through others.
- You will demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
