The Royal Automobile Club of Australia is a prestigious Sydney icon which has been delighting members with personalised service since 1903. Positioned in the heart of Sydney's Circular Quay, this historic building benefits from one of the city's premier locations on Macquarie Street. **About the Role**
As **Functions and Events** **Manager**,** you will be an integral part of our team. You will be responsible for confirming the details of all event bookings and co-ordinating the logistics in the lead-up to the event delivery in the Club. Our Club is tailored to our clients - from functions, events, conferences, weddings, and cocktail parties.
Located in the heart of Sydney just minutes away from trains, buses and ferries.
**What you will bring**
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders across the business to facilitate seamless event delivery by our operations teams
- Develop and maintain regular client preference information to ensure accuracy and liaise with clients before the event to ensure event logistics are up to date.
- Identify and follow-up on opportunities to maximise revenue and enhance the customer experience, where appropriate
- Contribute as a team player to manage competing deadlines and ensure team goals are achieved

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**In addition, you will**:
- Have high level administration, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
- Be comfortable coordinating logistics for large scale complex events.
- Understand key performance indicators in event management.
- Be proactive with solution focused problem-solving abilities.
- Have a genuine willingness to learn and be guided by Management and other senior colleagues.
- Love working as part of a team - motivating and inspiring those around you.
- Qualifications in Event Management or 2 to 3 years’ experience in coordinating/managing events.
- Have data entry experience with exposure to event management booking systems - e.g. NorthStar.
- Current Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Ability to start immediately.
Market Based Salary structure can be negotiated based on Experience and Qualification
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
