**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager Information Services, the Team Leader - Records and Information Management provides leadership, support and development to the Records and Information Management Team, ensuring continuous improvement of record keeping practices and compliance with Council’s Records and Information Management Framework. In addition, you responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Records and Information Management practices and lead the team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Councils Records and Information Management Services.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership, management and direction to the Information Management team to ensure effective delivery of Records and Information Management procedures.
- Contribute to the development, effectiveness and productivity of the Council by driving the development, guidance and strategic direction of quality records and information management processes and procedures.
- Build proactive and collaborative working relationships with team members and internal stakeholders to establish and support Information Management project groups.
- Drive business improvement from a strategic perspective and in liaison with the Records and Information Management Governance Group.
- Manage and maintain Council’s electronic document and records management system (EDRMS), with emphasis on data quality and compliance with the State Records Act 1997 and other relevant legislation.
