Architectural Technician

Our practice, with over **30 years** of experience, is a well-established business specialising in retail and commercial projects. TRG operates from 9 office locations across Australia, New Zealand, India, Brazil, and the United Kingdom. We’re seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technician to join our Sydney team in a permanent, full-time basis.
- This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills in architectural documentation, the ability to liaise with clients and consultants, and experience working on retail and commercial projects._

**About the Role**:
As an Architectural Technician, you will:

- Preparing architectural documentation, including plans, specifications, and detailed drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Conducting site surveys and measurements to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Ensuring all documentation complies with the Building Code of Australia (BCA), Australian Standards, and relevant planning processes.
- Contributing to retail store planning and shop fit-out designs.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 2+ years of experience as an architectural technician, preferably in retail or commercial sectors with a focus on construction.
- A relevant qualification in architecture, building design, or drafting.
- Advanced proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.
- A valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
