**_About the role:_**

As the Leading Hand of the assembly team, your role will be to ensure the assembly and production of machinery in a timely, efficient and safe manner. You will be backed by the Factory Manager and have the direction to lead your assembly team. You will be responsible for:

- Building farming and agricultural machinery from the ground up;
- Reviewing production schedules for prioritisation;
- Overseeing and guiding the assembly team to meet deadlines;
- Coordinating movement and stock of parts across departments for assembly;
- Ensuring a safe, clean and organised workspace for you and your team;
- Communicating with sales, drafting and stores when needed on progress; and
- Leading the assembly production and assisting on the tools, where required.

**_About you:_**

This role requires a knowledgeable leader from a manufacturing/production background. You will lead from the centre of the action, with your assembly team. Your ability to organise people, parts and production will be vital. To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A trade, mechanical or technical background;
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and see tasks from start to finish.
