**The role**
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's success and contributing to the development of our key civil projects across New South Wales

**Your every day**
We’re looking for a visionary leader to steer our company to new heights in NSW. This is a newly created role in a new market for our business. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Leading and managing the performance of a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and development.
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Developing and maintaining a positive company culture and ensuring that staff are motivated and engaged.
- Monitoring market trends and adjusting strategies as necessary to stay competitive.
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Providing regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on the performance of the business.

**Who are you?**
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field
- 10+ years’ experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in a high-level managerial leadership position in a scaling business
- Strong financial management skills including experience developing and managing budgets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, employees, and other stakeholders
