**Job description**

We seek an enthusiastic person. Learn to be a Dental Assistant, join our team on a part-time or casual basis, working between 10 - 30 hours weekly. On-the-job training provided. Located in West Ryde, our practice welcomes patients from all over NSW to receive exciting, modern and advanced treatments.

We have all the latest and greatest equipment, like CBCT, Lasers and Milling Machines. We do all the usual dental procedures but so much more. It is a fun place to work where you will learn so many new skills for the future. We are a fully functioning digital practice. We support our staff to go on to become hygienists or dentists; you can too We mentor overseas dentists in getting their degrees.

The usual:

- Sterilise instruments
- Prepare instrument trays
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Correctly handle and dispose of contaminated waste
- Maintain equipment
- General housekeeping

You will also learn:

- How to make crowns, paint and cure
- How to create splints
- How to create and mount digital Models

Applicants must:

- Be able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Be well-spoken, confident and empathetic
- Be punctual, reliable and responsible
- Take initiative
- Hours 8 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

**Transport**:West Ryde station is a 10-minute walk; there is an eastbound bus stop out the front and plenty of street parking available.
