Apprentice Carpenter

Build a career in the construction industry through carpentry skills and tackle renovation building projects, helping construct and maintain buildings on the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Inner City suburbs of Sydney.

Apprentice carpenters work under trade qualified carpenters and the site foreman of Brands Built. They are required to learn on the job and at TAFE. They assist in carpentry and general building tasks required with the renovation and maintenance of residential homes.

**Preferred Skills**

Car and license to get to TAFE and site

Prior work experience within trades

Completed year 12

**Duties include**:
Perform measurements and calculations

Read and interpret plans and specifications

Handle carpentry hand and power tools

Construct and install frames, trusses, eaves and cladding

Working with various building materials

**Salary**: depending on stage $29,000 -$45,000 p/a
