Climbing Arborist

Arborcraft tree services is one of the leading tree care providers in Melbourne. We are not just a tree surgery company we also specialise in tree transplanting/salvage and plant health care. We are also aware that we cannot continue to provide top quality tree care without great staff. We take a no damage approach to tree care we put the time on jobs to allow for this to be done. The role

The role will entail day to day climbing tasks from fine dead wooding, weight reduction through to confined space tree removals and large scale tree removal etc.

Training of apprentices. At Arborcraft we believe in training our staff to the highest of standards. This includes our Leading Hands. We also give time to our apprentices to learn.

Overseeing maintenance of the entire fleet.

Essential requirements for this role
- Minimum Cert 3 in Arboriculture
- Minimum 4 years’ full time climbing experience being competent and efficient in all facets of tree surgery
- An understanding of tree biology. We believe that this is our job-climbing is just how we get to work.
- Drivers licence
- A passion for tree care
- MR truck license or be willing to get the licence
- Punctuality
- Well presented

Location
- You will be expected to meet your team mates in Clayton South every morning.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
