Scoresby Location - $34.95/hour+super - MORNING SHIFT 6.00am to 2.30pm **Job Title: Storeperson** - Start date: ASAP - End Date: 1 year contract with possible extension - Pay rate: $34.95 plus super - Location: Scoresby - Work Days and Hours: MORNING SHIFT 6.00am to 2.30pm. Monday to Friday with over time available on Saturdays when required. There is an expectations to do a fair share of overtime. - Onsite/WFH: onsite only - Potential for extension?: This will be an ongoing requirement to work the full 5 day week. Our client design, manufacture, distribute and service diesel and natural gas engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems. They are the world’s largest independent designer and manufacturer of diesel engines. **ROLE DESCRIPTION**: You will be working for the Distribution Business Unit. This is where the Cummins diesel engines are reconditioned, and it also functions as the warehouse that stores and distributes their spare parts. As the Storeperson you will be working for the parts distribution center, performing general pick packer duties such as: - Picking, packing, and loading products based on daily orders - Receiving, stocking, and stacking incoming stock - Scanning and sorting outgoing stock - Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. - Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues. - Operates various pieces of equipment ( Forklift) - Reach Forklift experience is a must - Reports any mechanical problems. - Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices. - Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. - Performs other duties as assigned. **Preferred level of experience**: Someone with at least **3 years' experience** who can hit the ground running is preferred. **License required**: RF Forklift license **HOW TO APPLY** - Applications received after the due date may be considered for similar roles._ - "Indigeco Acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and Recognise our Brothers & Sisters Connection to Land, Waters and Community.
