**Position Objectives**:
At The Hive Early Learning Centre, we are dedicated to supporting children, families, and educators through our programs and active community involvement.
- Coordinate the learning activities of the allocated group of children.
- Ensure the care and development of each child in the group and monitor the achievement of education objectives.
- To facilitate transition to school programs
- To organise and conduct parent information nights twice a year
- To complete transition reports within required timeframes
- To provide a quality early childhood program which meets the needs of the children attending Centre Based Childcare and in line with the requirements of the of the National Quality Standards, the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012.
- To work co-operatively with child care staff, families and allied professionals to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children attending the service.
- To plan, implement and evaluate an educational program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from birth to six years of age.
- To attend and participate in monthly team meetings
- To support the 3- and 4-year-old Kinder Program as required
**Requirements for role**:
- Must hold an approved ECEC qualification (Bachelor of Early Education, Graduate Diploma or Master of Education)
- Current First Aid qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma (support can be provided to obtain this)
- VIT registration (Including provisional)
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework
- KindyHub knowledge an advantage
- Passionate for developing positive learning outcomes for children
- Experience and confidence with written documentation and planning in relation to children's learning and development
- Exceptional communication
- Solution-focused positive can-do attitude
- Available 5 days a week

Pay: $36.30 - $40.00 per hour
