What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Project Planning Coordinator to join our Corporate Services division in a Max Term role until 10th September 2026.
The Corporate Services Division provides overarching leadership in governance, compliance, and strategic direction. It plays a key role in shaping the company's reputation, engaging with the community, and collaborating with business units to address challenges, achieve strategic goals, and foster a high-performance culture—positioning the organization as an employer of choice.
The Project Planning Coordinator is mainly responsible for ensuring the timely development and coordination of several key enterprise-wide projects that align with Toyota Australia's Future Direction, supporting TMCA in executing its strategy and achieving its objectives. This involves facilitating forums, preparing and updating project schedules, and providing regular, accurate, and timely reports to key stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Planning Coordinator gathers, analyzes, and summarizes essential project information, preparing and distributing reports and presentations to support informed decision-making.
This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you’ll make an impact- Develop and manage project schedules while consistently providing key stakeholders with accurate and timely updates to support effective planning, budgeting, and forecasting. These projects include changes to vehicles specs prior to vehicle launches.- Facilitate forums and meetings to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals and status among all stakeholders. Conduct reflection activities to drive continuous improvement to ensure transparent communication of project plans, progress, and issues to all stakeholders.- Implement and evaluate project management systems, processes, and procedures in alignment with established policies to achieve business objectives.- Contribute to the development of processes and procedures for the Project Management team to support the timely and cost-effective delivery of key enterprise-wide projects.
Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Tertiary qualification in engineering, business management, or equivalent professional experience (desirable).- Demonstrated experience in project planning and coordination.- Automotive background in a similar role involving project coordination (desirable).- Strong track record of building effective partnerships and collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
